Department of Public Health

The department of public health is part of the faculty of medical sciences. It offers a bachelor’s program in Public Health.

The Bachelor of public health helps students develop a wide range of knowledge and practical skills such as the ability to analyze the determinants of health and disease in communities and populations, and to develop approaches that lead to health improvements. A practical training provides students with an opportunity of learning from experience and transfer public health key principles as well as academic knowledge in a practical setting.
 
One of the strengths of this program is its professional relevance. Students will be integrated into a wide range of sectors, including health, education, health administration and health planning, among others.
